Chair yoga is a diverse practice; you might find your self teaching anywhere from an office to a nursing home, or incorporating it into your mat based classes. It’s a great way to make yoga more accessible and it’s a reminder of all the different facets of yoga that can easily be practiced in a chair by anyone.

Throughout my self paced chair yoga training you’ll learn how to teach seated yoga, use the chair as a prop when standing and incorporate aspects of yoga that can easily be done seated into a class including pranayama and meditation. You’ll explore the needs of your students, including physical and health reasons that might require a seated yoga practice. Understanding and responding to this adds a sensitivity to your yoga teaching that feeds into all other classes you teach.

Nathalie’s Chair Yoga Teacher Training Course was fantastic. I had learnt some elements of Chair Yoga in my 200Hr, but I gained a much deeper understanding from this course, exploring many of the complexities surrounding holding a chair yoga class that I may not have initially thought of. Each of the videos were presented in a way that was very easy to watch, and understand. Nathalie was approachable and gave really helpful feedback really quickly. I have come away from this course feeling really confident teaching my Chair Yoga Classes. Would highly recommend.

I’ve loved my chair yoga training with Nathalie & Live Love Yoga. The course was incredibly well set out, providing so much information to share with my students. I particularly liked the reminder that so much of yoga can be practiced in a chair and it’s given me lots of ideas to take into my regular yoga classes too.
